Since graduating from L'École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs in Paris, Catherine Gran has exhibited her work in London, Paris, Florence, Beirut. Her black and white drawings, staggeringly precise and sweetly ironic, are often coupled with unusual supports: large porcelain wall decorations, a classic bronze chandelier, a miniature Victorian house, etc. She has made five collections of wallpaper and decorative panels for the French design company Edmond Petit, which have all traveled the world. In 2017, her work joined the collection of the Musée des Arts décoratifs de Paris.
